Kirk and Bill grew up on a steady influx of the old school
prog rock like Kansas, Yes, Rush and (especially for Bill and
Kirk) Emerson, Lake & Palmer. These influences are very
noticiable in the Young Earth song ”One True God” on
the CPR album.
David Wallimann however is about 15 years younger than us
grew up in France never hearing much of the old school prog.
He is more influenced by modern artists like Dream Theater
and Stevie Vai.
Our debut album will have elements of all these influences
plus even a tip of the hat to fusion jazz/rock artists like
The Yellowjackets, Chick Corea, Jeff Beck. We also have a deep
appreciation for the etheral sounds of early Genesis, Peter
Gabriel, Ozric Tentacles and Marillion
